General Election Information 

The 2024 General Election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 5th, 2024. Our city offices will be open on voting day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

All active, eligible voters will be mailed a ballot on Tuesday, October 15th and are encouraged to vote and return their ballots in our 24-hour drop box.

Early Voting:  

Early voting will be held at City Hall (2277 E. Bengal Blvd.) from Tuesday, October 29th to Friday, November 1st, from 2 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

2024 Important dates
October 11 Logic and Accuracy Demonstration at the Salt Lake County Government center, 10am
October 15

Ballots mailed to all active, registered voters
October 22 Early Voting begins at the Salt Lake County Government Center
October 25 Last day to register to vote for the General Election and receive a by-mail ballot
October 29 - November 1
 Early in-person voting at Cottonwood Heights City Hall
October 29
 Last day to request a replacement by-mail ballot
November 4 All ballots returned via USPS must be postmarked no later than this day
November 5  Regular General Election
