Cottonwood Heights' Youth City Council gives community youth the chance to get involved with city government and participate in service and social events. All council members must live within Cottonwood Heights boundaries (or attend high school in the city) and be in grades 9-12.

Since members represent the city, they must be willing to serve, show integrity, set an appropriate example, attend meetings, and support the council's goals. Besides being fun, Youth City Council looks good on resumes and scholarship applications.

Submit all YCC applications by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
