The Planning Commission was created to represent the concerns of diverse citizen groups and the broad interests of the community as a whole. It makes recommendations to the city council on legislative land use decisions, including property rezoning and ordinance changes. It also grants final approval of conditional use permits, site plan approvals, and subdivisions.
