Polly Harris

Polly Harris has more than 17 years of police experience, working with the search & rescue, patrol, and K-9 divisions. She currently serves as school resource officer at Brighton High School, keeping the school safe, investigating crimes that occur on school property, and enforcing the law.

Juniors and seniors are invited to attend Polly's law enforcement and criminal justice class. She explains the need for police, courts and jails, how the criminal justice system works, and what life is like for police officers. Polly enjoys teaching and interacting with students.

Kelly Taylor

Officer Taylor has several years of experience in law enforcement and has worked in almost every capacity that it has to offer. He is currently assigned to Butler Middle School as a school resource officer.

Along with being an SRO, Officer Taylor teaches D.A.R.E. to fifth grade students at Canyon View, Oakdale, Ridgecrest, Bella Vista, and Butler elementary schools. D.A.R.E. teaches kids to have self-empowerment and make the best decisions from their choices, which gives them the most positive consequences.
