I was born and raised in Venezuela in a hardworking and caring family. I attended college in Mérida, in the Venezuelan Andes, where I earned a degree in Biology. In 2003, I moved to Logan, Utah, where I completed a Master’s in Biochemistry at Utah State University. After graduation, I relocated to Salt Lake City to work as a Biotechnology mentor at Salt Lake Community College. Shortly after, I began creating art that reflects my deep respect and fascination for the outdoors. I now work at Myriad Genetics, supporting research efforts to develop minimally invasive cancer detection assays. In my spare time, I am both a landscape painter and an avid outdoors enthusiast. I am a career scientist, too, which speaks of my interest in nature. My curiosity has led me to explore and study the natural world both through the rigor of academic inquiry and the free-spirited perspective of self-taught art.
Kendra Parrish Burton’s experience includes: 7 years architectural drafting, college at BYU and ISU, studying original Masters’ artwork in Europe, New York and Washington D.C., working with world renowned artists, teaching art on television filmed at KTVX, showing her work at the Springville Museum, JSM Building, Tabernacle Choir Broadcast, galleries, book covers, etc. Kendra’s paintings won “People’s Choice Awards” at the Inspirational Art Association Show and at the Parliament of the World’s Religions. Her musical composition “The Homeland” was performed by the Wasatch Symphony. A highlight of her life is working with Greg and Linda Christensen on 12 temple murals.

Downy holds a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Utah, and an MFA in painting and drawing from Brigham Young University. Her academic background lays the foundation for the depth and richness evident in her artistic expression.

Jeff Anderson is a Utah-based watercolor artist whose work is deeply inspired by the beauty of the natural world. His signature pieces merge idealized landscapes with geometric, prairie glass-inspired window designs. These bold, angular shapes serve as a metaphor for humanity’s impulse to impose order on the inherent chaos of nature.

Born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Albert Wint immigrated to the US with his parents in 1989. In the US Albert received a scholarship to complete his Bachelor of Fine art in Painting and Drawing from the University of Utah where at that time his work heavily leaned into abstract art but later returned to what it was before art school, more traditional portraits, landscapes, and figurative work.
