Public Meetings

In our ongoing effort ensure transparency and open government, the city of Cottonwood Heights conducts and sponsors several meetings that are open to the public.

Some meetings allow for open public comment, while others are open for attendance only.

These regular meetings include bi-monthly city council business meetings and weekly city council work sessions. During business meetings, citizens are allowed to share concerns and comments with the council. Citizens are also allowed to attend work sessions but may not make comments unless called upon by the mayor.

The city also holds monthly planning commission meetings. Citizens are also invited to make public comments during the business portions of the meetings.

Similarly, the Board of Adjustment and Architectural Review Committee hold meetings as needed, and the public is invited to attend.

Other meetings involving city commissions and committees are held on a regular basis, including Historic Committee, Arts council, and Youth City Council.
