Why become a Cottonwood Heights volunteer?
Have you ever wanted to organize a parade or help out with a community play? Do you love to decorate for Halloween or are Easter egg hunts more your thing?
Cottonwood Heights takes pride in the many residents who volunteer their time to brainstorm together and bring the city’s events to life. The mayor and city council feel that residents have a better understanding of the types of events their friends and neighbors want to attend, and input from our citizens has made the city’s events stronger and better each year.
We would like to continue to invite residents join in the fun of making city events more community-oriented. In order to move forward, we are in need of volunteers to help out with a wide variety of events and committees. It's a great opportunity to feel connected to our community, gain valuable work experience, learn a new skill and make new friends.
Have you attended an event which you felt could have been better? Do you have a skill or talent that you would love to share with us? You can donate a small amount of your time or devote yourself fully to one or more of our events or committees. It all adds up and makes a difference in keeping our community events alive and strong.
If you are interested in volunteering or have questions, please contact City Events Coordinator Ann Eatchel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 801-550-8225.
