Ridgecrest Elementary is celebrating its 50th birthday next year and is looking for alumni to help document school milestones and memories across the generations. If you are an alumnus, help us tell the Ridgecrest story by emailing an anecdote or cherished memory to Principal Julia Winfree: Julia.winfree@canyonsdistrict.org. The school’s golden jubilee is scheduled to coincide with the start of school on Sept. 8.

This Bengal is a Rising Star

The scholarship winners were announced at the Foundation’s Spring fundraising Gala, held at Corner Canyon High on April 27.

An after-school program for students in the Brighton feeder system was one of two recreation programs recognized by the Utah Recreation and Parks Association. The award was presented to Ben Hill, Director of the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area, at the association’s annual conference in March.
