City Council Meetings Streamed Live

City Council Meetings Streamed Live
Posted on 01/01/2019

After some testing and working through a few technological details, the Cottonwood Heights City Council meetings will be streamed live via YouTube beginning in 2019.

Some further testing and training will be required in December and early January as the city rolls out this new feature.

The link to the meetings will be found on the city’s YouTube channel, and link to the live stream will be provided via the city website and the city’s other social media pages (Facebook and Twitter).

The live stream is a great way for citizens who are not able to attend meetings in person to stay informed and get involved in local government. Citizens comments during city council meetings will continue to be exclusively heard by those who attend twice-monthly business meetings in person, and not through the live stream.

As a bonus, all meetings will be recorded and archived on YouTube for viewing later.
