Posted on 10/02/2017

The Cottonwood Heights Baha’i community is celebrating the bicentennial birth of their faith’s founder and prophet Baha‘u’llah in October, and the City Council honored them with a proclamation on Sept. 12. The proclamation declared Oct. 22 as “Baha’i Community Day” in Cottonwood Heights, and urged all to recognize “…the oneness of humanity; to embrace diversity; and to work for unity in our local community, in our country, and in the world.”

The Cottonwood Heights Baha’i community was founded in 2008. They will hold a reception at City Hall on Oct. 20 (7-9 p.m.) and Oct. 21 (5-9 p.m.) to celebrate. All are welcome to attend.  Due to the limit of space please RSVP by Oct. 14.  Please contact Victoria at 801-557-5511 or Niloufar at 801-635-7654.
