Resident Responsibilities

Residents are required by ordinance to keep vehicles off public roads during storm events.  Snow plows need complete access to streets in order to effectively remove snow.
In addition, the City asks that residents not place, dump, or push snow into the street right-of-way from a sidewalk  or driveway.
Clear your sidewalk especially after the snow plows have finished plowing to the Curb.
Salt and/or sand all icy areas both on the sidewalk, and on driveways, steps and pathways around your property.
Please assist your elderly and or disabled neighbors with the snow removal needs when possible.
