NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PROPOSED CONDITIONAL
USE AMENDMENT
 
Notice is hereby given that Cottonwood Heights will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission on November 18, 2009, to receive public comment on a request by John Gust to amend the Cottonwood Meadows (Talavera) PUD located at approximately 1850 E Siesta Drive, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. The applicant is proposing to amend the front setbacks from 41 feet to 31 feet for main residences in the PUD. Talavera is approximately 19.5 acres in size. 
 
The hearing will be held at Cottonwood Heights City Offices, 1265 East Fort Union Blvd., Suite 300, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. Inquiries should be directed to Morgan Brim at 944-7065.

ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN
 
Notice is hereby given that Cottonwood Heights will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission to receive comments on a proposed applicant-initiated amendment to the General Plan for Cottonwood Heights, at the following properties located in Cottonwood Heights, UT (A/K/A Cadens Cove Development):

The applicant is proposing to change the General Plan designation from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential. The hearing will be held at the Cottonwood Heights City Offices, 1265 East Fort Union Blvd., Suite 300, on November 18, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. A map of the proposed amendment can be found on the City’s website at www.cottonwoodheights.utah.gov. ON AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 19.76 RELATING TO
PORTABLE STORAGE CONTAINERS AND ACCESSORY APARTMENTS
COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS CODE
 
Notice is hereby given that the Cottonwood Heights Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, to receive input on a proposed change to Chapter 19.76 “Supplementary and Qualifying Rules and Regulations” of the Cottonwood Heights Municipal Code. The proposed amendment would establish provisions and requirements for portable storage containers, and requirements regarding accessory apartment in owner-occupied single-family homes. 
 
The hearing will be held at the Cottonwood Heights City Offices, 1265 East Fort Union Blvd., Suite 300, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard. Inquiries should be directed to Kevin Smith at 801-944-7000.
