Finance Director Finance Director Application
Cottonwood Heights is accepting applications for a Finance Director. Under the general direction of the City Manager, directs the city wide financial planning, financial administration and accounting system of the City. This position will develop and coordinate systems and procedures for governmental accounting, internal auditing, treasury, bond administration, grant writing and administration, budget preparation and support, financial analysis and reporting.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field, and eight years paid professional experience managing governmental finance functions including accounting, budgeting, auditing, and grants management. Also requires five years professional staff supervision. Experience above minimum may be substituted for education on a year for year basis. Advanced degree in Accounting or MPA is highly desirable.
