Did you know?  You can sign up to recieve notification of opportunities to volunteer for city events.  It is simple.  On the top right hand corner of the city website, there is a Notifications box.  Simply put in your e-mail address.  You will then recieve an e-mail, at the address you entered, to confirm your registration.  This e-mail will have a link in it to continue, you will need to click on this link.  This will then open a list of over 20 items you can select to recieve notifications on.  Select as many as you want.  By selecting "Volunteering Opportunities" you will recieve e-mails when we are in need of volunteers.  This will tell you a brief discription of the need and event.  You can then chose to contact someone about volunteering or not.  We appreciate all of the wonderful and dedicated volunteers that have helped out with events and needs.  We look forward to having many more wonderful people serve in their community.
